MEAL TICKET: CONTEST RULES
SEASON 11

WEST - ONE PLAYER FROM EACH EAST REGION* RECEIVES AN AUTOMATIC ENTRY TO A WESTERN CANADA REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

The draw will be held on July 18, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. (EST) in Toronto, Ontario. There will be a single winner for each WEST Championship event, drawn from all qualified entries, that wins an automatic entry to their respective West Region Championship, July 26, 2008.

EAST - ONE PLAYER FROM EACH EAST REGION RECEIVES AN AUTOMATIC ENTRY TO THE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS 11 (Red Hot Regional Showdown).

The "Meal Ticket" contest is organized by Red Hot Poker Tour®. The contest starts March 28, 2008 and ends on July 17, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

The draw will be held on July 18, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. (EST) in Toronto, Ontario.  The single winner in each region, drawn from all qualified entries from that region, will become an automatic member of their Region Team, which will compete at the Red Hot Regional Showdown, July 26, 2008 (Tournament of Champions 11).

One Player from each the following seven regions will win a seat on their Region Team as described in the Club House section of the Red Hot Poker Tour site: Ottawa, HBO (Hamilton/Burlington/Oakville), Toronto, GTA (Greater Toronto Area), KWG (Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph, London, Windsor.

All Entry requirements/qualifying criteria and Rules (below) must be followed. The winning entry must have satisfied all Season 11 Terms and Conditions by the deadline(s).

HOW TO ENTER

A Member can enter as many times as you meet the following qualifying criteria:

1.

You have purchased a meal at an active Red Hot Poker Tour location and submit the receipt which shows a value of ten dollars or more, not including alcoholic beverages.

2.

The reverse of the receipt must have the following accurate hand-written information:

 

a. Your Full Name
b. Red Hot Poker Tour Member Number
c. Your Region
d. Email Address
e. Phone Number

3.

The receipt(s) must be received by mail by the cut off date and time of July 17, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). No submission can be mechanically reproduced or photocopied. You are permitted to place multiple receipts in one envelope, but all must have the above information (point #2) hand-written on the back of the receipt.

Receipts can be for meals purchased at any time during the contest, and are not limited to the day of the Tournament at that venue. However, Red Hot Poker Tour will disqualify all submissions of any person that attempts to cheat by submitting receipts as entries that are not their own.

PRIZE

One player from each Region* receives an automatic entry to the Season 11 Championship event.

WHO CAN ENTER
This contest is only open to Red Hot Poker Tour Members in good standing who have accumulated a minimum of 250 points during the current Season, are legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are over 19 years of age and/or the legal drinking age in their province. Not eligible to win are Red Hot crew, contractors and suppliers to Red Hot Poker Tour its divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates, their respective agencies and members of their respective immediate families and/or persons with whom any of the foregoing are domiciled. Membership to the Red Hot Poker Tour is free.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE - NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
Red Hot Poker Tour Members in good standing who have accumulated at least 500 points in the current Season may also submit one non-receipt entry by mail. To do so the Member must hand-write the following on a 3 inch X 5 inch piece of paper: Full Name, Red Hot Poker Tour Member Number, complete mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address and on the reverse hand-write a list of their top five favourite Red Hot Poker Tour locations/bars/venues. No submission can be mechanically reproduced or photocopied. Mail to: Red Hot Poker Tour, P.O. Box 72057, 1562 Danforth Ave., Toronto, ON, Canada, M4J 5C1. Only one (1) non-receipt/no purchase necessary entry per Red Hot Poker Tour Member throughout the contest. All entries must be received by, on or before the Meal Ticket Contest deadline.

PRIZE DRAW
On July 18, 2008 at approximately 12:00 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time), one winning entry from each region will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time limited mathematical skill testing question, to be administered by telephone, and his/her entry has been verified by Red Hot Poker Tour.

WINNER NOTIFICATION
The selected entrant will be notified by e-mail or phone (using the contact information provided) on the day of the draw. Once confirmed, the winners name may be posted on the Red Hot Poker Tour web site (www.redhotpokertour.com). In the event that the person is not eligible, cannot be contacted by Red Hot Poker Tour or the entrant does not correctly answer the mathematical skill testing question within the time limit, or the entry cannot be verified, Red Hot Poker Tour has the right to disqualify that potential winner and to draw an alternate potential winner from all remaining eligible entries received and shall be fully and completely released and discharged from liability or responsibility in this regard.

GENERAL RULES

1. Red Hot Poker Tour reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to postpone or change the prize or any portion thereof. Prizes are non-transferable, must be accepted as awarded by Red Hot Poker Tour and cannot be exchanged by a declared winner for other substitutes.
2. All entries/receipts become the property of Red Hot Poker Tour. By participating in this contest (submitting an entry) and winning a prize, prize winner(s) agree to allow Red Hot Poker Tour and its suppliers to use and/or publish your name, photograph and relevant personal information for all advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world without compensation.
3. The decisions of the contest judges are final, and all entrants agree to abide by all of the instructions and decisions of the contest judges. In the event of any dispute regarding the interpretation of these contest rules or any decision rendered by the contest judges, the decision or interpretation of the Red Hot Poker Tour management shall prevail.
4. Any attempt to tamper with the entry process, interfere with these Contest rules, deliberately undermine the administration, security or legitimate operation of the contest, is a violation of criminal and civil laws, Red Hot Poker Tour reserves the right to seek damages and/or other relief from all persons responsible for such acts to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Red Hot Poker Tour assumes no responsibility for entries: lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected, or for the failure, interruption or delay of any mail or other communication to be received, for any reason; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers; traffic congestion on the Internet; the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer "hackers."
6. Red Hot Poker Tour reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend in whole or in part the contest for any reason and without liability and without prior notice. Red Hot Poker Tour shall not be held responsible for any problems, errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the contest.
7. By entering the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Contest rules, which are subject to change without notice to contest entrants individually, and each entrant releases Red Hot Poker Tour, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents and advertising and promotional agencies, from any damage, loss or liability suffered as a result of or arising from the entrant's participation in contest or the use of any prize.
8. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible Entries received. More entries submitted by a member increase the chances of winning.
9. The Contest and the Contest rules shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario. Any dispute shall be adjudicated in the courts sitting in Toronto, Ontario.
