Gary Biggar finishes in 10th place at the World Series of Poker event 52 and cashes for $36000!
June 30. 2:00 PM. BREAK. 2000 players are left and Red Hot Poker Tour is doing well, but with a few causalties. Osman Soubra, Yane Erick Coderre and Sal Villaluz are gone. Gary Kelly has 2500, Bob Clemmer is at 2600, Frenando Cianiello has 5000 and Scott Mcfadyen leads the pack with 5600 in chips. Derek Cooney and Gary Biggar are still in but no chip report. Level 3 starts at 2:20 PM.
June 30. 12:00 noon. WSOP Tournament Director makes the announcement to shuffle up and deal and the cards fly as everyone starts with 3000 in chips (1 x 1000, 2 x 500, x 100, 8 x 25). Blinds start at 25/50 with one hour blinds.
June 30. 11:00 AM. The 10 Red Hot Poker Tour players gathered at Harrah's ready to rumble. Two stretch limos arrived to take a cruise down the strip on the way to the RIO and the World Series of Poker. At the tournament we learned that the entries had been capped at 2700 and no one else was able to register.
June 29. 7:00 PM At dinner Team Canada was filled with excitement for the big day and all were optimistic about their chances having so much tournament experience at Red Hot Poker Tour. After steaks and drinks everyone headed back to the strip to chill.
June 29. 6:00 PM. Players got registered and were given their table and seat which was scattered across the mammoth Amazon room and in a secondary room called Brasilia. |
